About Our Technology... Hillside Elementary School has two computer labs equipped with modern windows desktop computers. Our classrooms are interactive with Smart Boards and Promethean boards, digital projectors and large size screens for multimedia presentations. The Media Center has computers available for research and taking Accelerated Reader Tests. The technology curriculum is designed to help students learn how to research, organize, analyze, and present information effectively. There are specific technology skills that all students should be able to do at each grade level. These skills are integrated into the teaching curriculum. Another addition to our technologies is video-streaming. Teachers are now able to integrate their lessons with video content from the Discovery Channel at their UnitedSteaming Website.
