Parent Workshops
Hillside PTA sponsors several Parent Workshops throughout the year. The next workshop will feature Special Agent Kimberly Milka of the GBI High Technology Investigations Unit presenting information about CyberSafety, protecting our kids on the internet. The workshops will take place Thursday, November 13th at 6:30 PM (childcare will be provided) & Friday, November 14th at 12 NOON (feel free to bring your lunch). Please RSVP to Cindy Soder for either seminar. If attending Thursday night - please let us know if you need childcare. These seminars are for adults only. See the flyer for more info!
Red Ribbon Week - Elect To Be Drug Free!
This national drug awareness program helps students understand the importance of living a drug-free life. National Family Partnership is the sponsor of the National Red Ribbon Week Celebration and this year's successful Red Ribbon Week took place October 23-31. Students signed pledge cards and participated in poster contests. The week culminated in the Freestyle Connection BMX Bike Show generously supported by Learning Express. International Festival
Each year Hillside Elementary hosts this wonderful event which allows our Hillside family to share the authentic food and culture from their countries with the community. Last year's theme was "Did you Know…?” Interesting country facts were learned, dancing from various cultures was performed and interesting food was tasted!. Mark your calendars for this year's event to take place March 29 1PM - 4PM!

This spring orientation helps you and our little ones make a smooth transition to pre-kindergarten or kindergarten.
