• Sign in and out at the podium upon entering and exiting the media center
• Book bags should be placed along the wall to the left of the podium
• Students must have a pass from the classroom teacher in their agenda after 8:00AM
• Small groups (up to 5 students) may work in the media center with a pass from the teacher
• Groups larger than 5 need to be scheduled by the classroom teacher

• Books and books on tape may be checked out for two weeks with the option of renewal for an additional two weeks.
• Date due slips are placed in books at the time materials are checked out. The last date stamped is the date the material is due.
• Reference books may be checked out overnight. They must be returned the following morning.
• Magazines may be checked out for one day.
• Fines are assessed for overdue materials. Reference book fines are $.25 per school day. All other materials fines are $.05 per school day.
• Students are not allowed to check out materials if they have overdue books and/or outstanding fines.
• Overdue notices are printed on Mondays and given to homeroom teachers to hand out to students.

24 computers are available for student use in the Media Center. All students must have their Approved Use Policy signed by a parent/ guardian before being allowed to sign on the internet. Printouts are available from the computer for $.10 per black and white page and $.25 per color page.

Pens and pencils are available in the media center for $.25 each.
