January 8 - 11, 2008 - Pre-enrollment registration of currently enrolled students
January 12, 2008 - Informational/Registration Meeting at 10:00 am for prospective new students
Rising 6 th, 7 th and 8 th Graders and families meet at 3535 South Fulton Avenue (Hapeville Charter Main Campus)
Rising 9 th Graders and families meet at 1560 Metropolitan Parkway (Atlanta Technical College Conference Room)
February 9, 2008 - Informational/Registration Meeting at 10:00 am for prospective new students

March 1, 2008 - Tentative roster of students for 2008-2009 to FCBOE
NOTE: If the total of the new enrollment registration number for 2008-2009 plus the pre-enrollment (currently enrolled) registration number for 2008-2009 after the February 9, 2008 Informational/Registration Meeting exceeds 480 (for grades 6 through 8) and/or exceeds 150 (for grade 9,) a lottery system will be implemented for all new enrollees at the middle school level and/or at the high school level. The lottery will be conducted on February 23, 2008. Lottery Notifications of acceptances will be mailed to all applicants after March 30, 2008.
If the total of the new enrollment registration number for 2008-2009 plus the pre-enrollment (currently enrolled) registration number for 2008-2009 after the February 9, 2008 Informational/Registration Meeting is equal to, or less than 480 (for grades 6 through 8) and is equal to, or less than 150 (for grade 9,) a lottery will not be conducted. All subsequent applications will be received as “first come, first serve” until the 480 enrollment level is attained for the middle school grades, and/or until the 150 enrollment level is attained for the ninth grade. After the 480 enrollment level is attained for the middle school grades and the 150 enrollment level is attained for the ninth grade, a waiting list will be maintained by the Hapeville Middle School Office of Student Records. Acceptance letters will be mailed after March 30, 2008.
