Students enrolled at Crossroads Second Chance North have been found guilty of violating school rules by a Disciplinary Tribunal. Some students have exhausted the discipline cycle while others with no discipline record have engaged in behavior that is an immediate tribunal offense.
The school's primary purpose is to help students grow into positive young adults by learning acceptable behavior norms that will enable them to make better decisions; develop healthy and optimistic attitudes about their futures; and engage in constructive and sound practices.

A strict disciplinary policy is necessary to enable an effective learning environment. We have implemented a School-wide Behavior Modification Plan that uses a merit system to recognize and address behavior. This involves daily and weekly behavior goals expected to be met by the student on a daily and weekly basis.
Reward and recognition are motivators for good behavior, and will be key aspects of the Behavior Modification Plan. For example, students who are without a disciplinary infraction throughout the week are allowed to participate in an activity of interest to them as a reward.
Social and Academic Life Skills Each student will receive one hour of Social and Academic Life Skills instruction each day. This instruction consists of five core areas:
Interpersonal Skills
School Success Skills
