Our Vision
All students enrolled at Crossroads Second Chance North
have been found guilty at a Disciplinary Tribunal of violating school rules, and are considered at-risk for not completing high school. Thus, we strive to be an effective short-term intervention that
allows students to improve their academic, social and behavioral habits to successfully complete high school.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide social and behavioral development; provide comprehensive, effective instruction; encourage
community involvement; and emphasize character.

Our Strategic Plan
Our four main focus areas guide our curriculum and planning:

I. Behavior – Develop skills that will enable students to learn and engage in positive behavior.

II. Student Achievement – Close skill gaps in Reading, Language Arts, Writing, and Math.

III. Professional Learning – Participate in Curriculum, Behavior Management, and Grant Writing workshops designed to reach
and teach the At-Risk student.

IV. School Image – Improve school image by creating a positive perception through effective public relations strategies; positive communications; and parent and community involvement.
