LSAC Minutes

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Local School Advisory Council, or LSAC, is to assist the Creek View administration in coordinating resources to maximize educational opportunities for children and to increase student Achievement. The function of th council is to assess school programs and services, and establish goals to improve these areas as well as act as an advisory group to the Creek View administration.

Membership/Election Process

The council is comprised of two parent representatives, two business partners, two teachers, and the principal. The parent representatives and teachers stand for election and serve a two-year term. Elections are held in early May of each year. In 2004-2005 a parent will be elected to replace a parent representative whose term will expire in June.

Meetings

Meetings are publicized to the school community through the Cheetah Chat, PTA Connections, and the monthly school calendar. Meetings are held every other month throughout the school year and are open to the school community. If you have a topic for the agenda, please contact the LSAC Chair one week prior to the meeting date to discuss your topic.
