|
Dress Code is an important consideration in student life. It is important to be make sure your student is neat and clean and wears comfortable clothing conducive to an academic setting. Often in our warm climate we have issues regarding tops and shorts. In addition, fashion can sometimes interfere with educational goals. There are certain days when we make exceptions to some of these rules, but they will be very specific. Fulton County has mandated certain standards for dress that we uphold.
Modesty and moderation are good rules of thumb pertaining to the dress code:
No shorts or skirts above a child's middle finger tip length.
Bike shorts, athletic shorts, soffe's or cut-offs are not appropriate.
No hats, curlers, bandanas, sweatbands, sunglasses or gloves may be worn during school hours.
