Paintings in Counselor's Suite by our Advanced Placement Students

Art at Chattahoochee High School is an integral part of school life. Work created by our students is everywhere throughout the building.

Displays at the entrance to the school showcase current student work.

Advanced Drawing and Painting and Advanced Placement students create a self-portrait which is hung in the halls of the school after the student graduates. Many students come back years later to look for their portrait.

Teachers from across the curriculum incorporate art into the study of each discipline. 

• Students in Science classes have made mosaics from ceramic tiles which the students produced creating images of plant and animal life. The finished pieces were then displayed in a prominent place in the Science hall.
• Math classes used geometric shapes and designs based on tessellations to create a mosaic design for their hall. 
• Foreign language classes frequently study the art of the country of the languages that they are learning.
