Starbucks Coffee Fundraiser

You may have heard - Centennial now has its own blend of Starbucks coffee! All of the profits from the sale of Centennial coffee will go towards Project Graduation, a traditional, post-graduation, PTSA sponsored, drug, alcohol, and smoke free event for all graduating seniors. The coffee bags can be purchased for $13 per bag and are available in both regular and decaf. Cash or checks are accepted. Checks should be made out to CHS Project Graduation. Coffee bags will be sold at various PTSA and school events throughout the year. They can also be purchased at two local businesses: B&D's Gift Shop (near Office Depot) and Kasserole King (near Cafe Au Lait). Graduation Yard Signs

Graduation yard signs are now being sold. Cost is $20 per sign or 2 for $30. Signs will be sold until May 15. The dates when signs can be picked up at school will be announced in April. Contact Kathy Sammons or Lauren Karsenboom with any questions. | Order Form

Graduation Announcements

If you didn't have a chance to place your graduation announcements order when the Balfour representatives visited Centennial in November, visit Georgia Balfour. Graduation announcement information packets can be picked up in Room J02.

Caps & Gowns

As of May 1, the cap & gown fee is $80. When ordering caps & gowns, please make sure to indicate your gender on the ordering form as boys and girls will wear different color gowns at graduation. Boys will wear blue and girls will be in white. You can order online by calling 770.594.8155 or by visiting Georgia Balfour for an additional $4.95 fee.

Graduation Ceremony Information

A letter with details about the graduation ceremony and other graduation events was sent home on April 14. Parents, if you didn't receive one, please contact Ria Galanos, the graduation coordinator, via email or at 770.650.4230 ext. 350. Highlights of the letter:

  • Six graduation ceremony tickets will be given to each graduate. Extra tickets are not available for any reason.

  • Both the graduation practice and the graduation breakfast are mandatory events for graduates. There is no charge for the breakfast.

  • In order to participate in the ceremony, graduates must purchase cap & gowns in the following colors: blue for boys and white for girls.

  • Videos of the graduation ceremony are available for purchase for $25. The DVDs will be available for pick-up from Centennial’s main office on Monday, June 15. Cash and checks are accepted. Please make checks out to Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church. Order forms and payment will be collected in Centennial’s main office. Orders will not be accepted after May 25. | Order Form

Project Graduation Party

Tickets to the post-graduation party at Andretti's Indoor Karting and Games are now being sold. As of May 1, tickets are $75/person. Entertainment includes: go-cart racing, video games, rock climbing, a poker tournament, and a comedy hypnotist. Snacks and beverages will be provided. A drawing for amazing door prizes will also be held. Tickets will not be sold at the door. This event is for Centennial graduates only. Guests are not permitted. | Registration Form.
