The primary goal of the Camp Creek Media Center is to support student achievement. It serves as a classroom for every student in the school. Teachers collaborate with the media specialist to plan instruction and research projects to maximize the learning in the media center.

The media center is open from 7:50 – 4:00 each day; students can come to the media center during that time with a pass from their classroom teacher.

The library media center has a collection of over 12,000 books, magazines and audiovisual materials along with access to the Galileo databases and other resources available through the Internet.

Books may be checked out for two weeks and may be renewed on or before the due date. There is a $.05 a day fine for each book that is overdue. Students must clear up their overdue books or outstanding fines to check out additional books.

Students and parents both must sign an Acceptable Use Policy permission letter before students can use the Internet in the media center for curriculum purposes and class assignments only. Internet access computers are also available in computer labs and classrooms.
