Each student receives a progress report every nine weeks. Individual parent and teacher conferences are scheduled with the parents or guardian of every child during the first semester in order or discuss pupil progress. Additional conferences are held as needs arise. Semester report cards are issued to students twice a year at the end of eighteen weeks. The teachers of each team will communicate with all parents between each six weeks. Both letter grades and numerical grades are appropriate with the Fulton County grading system. Numerical grades are equated to letter grades as follows:

 
Final grade is derived from the following:  
  • 90 and Above = A
  • 80-89 = B
  • 70-79 = C
  • Below 70* = F

By State Rule, any grade below 70 is failing


  • Homework
  • Daily Participation
  • Quizzes/Tests (Varies with the nature of class activities. Class will emphasize participation).
  • Projects: Research papers, book reviews, demonstrations, performances, notebooks/reports (oral and written).
