The Georgia Career Information Center, through its Georgia Career Information System (GCIS), provides current and accurate occupational and educational information to schools and agencies throughout Georgia in order to help young people and adults make informed career and postsecondary choices. This program offers a multitude of resources for students including several interactive components--occupation sort, school sort, skills assessment, interest assessment, and scholarship sort.  Students may access GCIS in the library/career center or online at www.gcic.peachnet.edu (password required--please see your counselor to obtain the school's password).
Georgia College 411
A site full of information to help you learn more about selecting a college in Georgia, applying to college, and learning about financial aid resources and how to apply.
eCampusTours.com
Virtual tours of hundreds of college campuses.  Site also includes a free scholarship search and financial aid resources.
Princeton Review
A resource containing school search information, career assessments, advice on applying for programs, test-taking strategies and practice tests, etc.
GA Easy
Georgia Applications and Electronic Advisor System is designed to ease the process of selecting a University System of Georgia college or university to attend and applying for admissions at the institution.  Contains information about institutions, admissions requirements, a list of websites, financial aid information, information to match your interests to programs (including online version of Georgia Career Information System), and online applications.

A resource guide for students, parents, and education professionals including information on college preparation, choosing a college, and paying for college.

GoCollege.com
This link will match your interests with a college.  It will allow you to narrow down colleges according to majors, grades, scores, and tuition.  Also provided are online applications to over 850 colleges throughout the United States.  Practice ACT and SAT questions are available as well as financial aid information.

Georgia Department of Technical & Adult Education
The Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education oversees the state's system of technical colleges.  There are 34 technical colleges, 17 satellite campuses, as well as technical programs at four university system institutions that provide a broad range of career opportunities. These schools offer a variety of associate degree and diploma programs, continuing education programs, and economic development programs. This page provides considerable information on the various technical education programs and facilities around the state.
