What is it? |
| When are the meetings? Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month (except school holidays), at 7:30 a.m. in the counselor’s suite conference room. LSC meetings are always open to the public. Refer to the school website for specific dates and times. |
| What are the duties of the LSC? LSC provides advice and recommendations to the school principal, and where appropriate, to the Fulton County Board of Education on any matter, including curriculum, school budget priorities, community use of facilities, and most importantly helping to improve student achievement. The purpose of LSC is to provide support and assistance for teachers and administrators, make stakeholders a part of the school-based decision-making process, share ideas for school improvement, and create understanding and respect for each other’s concerns. |
