What is ParentCONNECT? ParentCONNECT is a free and simple way to monitor your teen's progress here at Alpharetta HS. It will be activated on September 2. You can keep tabs on progress from anywhere in the world via the internet. Track assignments, grades, tardies, absences, discipline, transcripts and progress toward graduation. You can even email his or her teachers. If you used ParentCONNECT at your previous school, you must register again at AHS.

User names and passwords will be available in the Media Center at Open House on September 1. After that they can be picked up in the Reception Office at AHS. Parents must provide picture identification when picking up user information here. The website address will be provided with the logon information. You can change the password we give you once you have used it.

How do I get involved in parent organizations? Our school is fortunate to have motivated and supportive parents. The PTSA is up and running spectacularly. Music and athletic booster clubs have formed as well. Please check the website for links to AHS parent organizations. Contact the principal (greene@fultonschools.org) or athletic director, Mike Cloy (cloyc@fultonschools.org) for more specific information.

How can businesses advertise through the AHS PTSA? Businesses interested in advertising in the student directory should contact: Kathy Baker @ 770 754-4397 or email her at: kathleen.baker@comcast.net. Much like a phone directory, this publication will be distributed to nearly 1600 individuals in the Alpharetta area.

How is a student selected for TAG? The Fulton County School System screens students for eligibility for gifted services twice a year. For more information, please read the Screening and Referral Process for Gifted Services.
