David Chang -- email

Dr. Chang has taught in several different schools over the last twenty years. His teaching experience spans from high schools to colleges. During these years, he often used “NAG” to help students to remember the three greatest mathematicians ever lived: Newton , Archimedes, and Gauss. They are indeed big giants in the field of Mathematics.

In fact, his teaching philosophy is based on a quote from Sir Isaac Newton. Newton once said, “If I have seen farther than others, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants.” It is his desire to be a little giant for the students here at Alpharetta High School to see farther in their high school career. For example, students will have ample opportunities to learn Mathematics and Chinese through the regular Mathematics Classes and Chinese Club. He wishes that all of his students realize that education is the key for their future.

After all, he is who he is today because of the following teachers and supervisors: Alexander, Aust, Bailey, Bevis, Brieske, Clark, Cotter, Curlette, Croft, Davis, Downes, Frasher, Freeman, Gibson, Gowen, Hall, Hart, Hitchcock, Hsu, Johnston, Lucy, Malcom, Neel, Oshima, Paschal, Rice, Rucker, Sanders-Leigh, Schultz, Singer, Smith, Stone,Wang, Wilborne, and WilliamsWest.
