Congratulations to Edwin Jackson and Dyonte Hampton of our Westlake High School Varsity Wrestling team. For advancing to the final round of sixteen for the state wrestling title in the 171lbs. and 189lbs. weight class respectively. On Sunday Jackson 's picture was featured in the Local news Paper with the caption reading. " Valdosta High's Demetrius Harden, right, tries to escape the hold of Edwin Jackson from Westlake Saturday morning at Lowndes High School . " Edwin went on to win the match 7-4, and has qualified 7th overall for this weekend tournament.
