Dr. Charlotte Lockhart
I am honored to be a part of the Renaissance Elementary School family “where failure is not an option”. As one- half of the Curriculum Support Teacher (CST) team, I look forward to serving the students, faculty, staff, and parents in this community by assisting teachers in organizing and implementing the curriculum which will enable every student to have a meaningful educational experience.
I am a native of Kentucky where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky. While employed as an elementary teacher in Fulton County, Georgia, I earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education as well as an Educational Specialist Degree from Brenau University, GA. After graduating from Brenau, I served for several years as an adjunct writing professor for pre-service educators. In 2002, I earned an Educational Doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Sarasota, FL. Later, in 2007, I received certification in Educational Leadership for Administration and Supervision from the University of West Georgia.
As I enter my 20th year with Fulton County as an educator, I continue to have a zeal for educating children and I challenge you to be an active contributor in your child’s education.
Sincerely,
Charlotte Lockhart, Ed. D.
