SPELLING BEE Winner and Runner Up 2007-2008 After 45 minutes of competition, the Haynes Bridge Middle School Spelling Bee winner was decided. Matthew Wakefield, an eighth grader, won by spelling the word “croissant” correctly. Matthew will represent Haynes Bridge by competing in the county-wide Spelling Bee in January at River Eves Elementary School. Good Luck, Matthew and congratulations also to Flor Silvano our runner-up.
