Recyclilng Club-Promotes the development of responsible attitudes and behaiviors toward the school community and the environment. The Recycling Club is actively involved in learning about the benifits of recycling in the school community and inclydes a better understanding of litter prevention and responsible solid waste management practices. Activites provide students with the information and skills necessary in making informed decisions toward solid waste management and its effect on people, animals, and the enviroment. The Green Team meets once or twice a month to organize the recycling program and discuss grounds beautification at projects at Haynes Bridge. The Green Team meets the first and third Thursdays of each month and is open to any 6th, 7th, and 8th graders with good conduct and serious about recycling. Internet access is available at your school in support of the instructional program. The Fulton County School System complies with the Children's Internet Protection Act. Filtering is in place that blocks access to material that may be inappropriate for your child. Web sites are permitted or denied upon review of the school Media Committee.
