Parking Rules for Fall 2007

The following will replace item #7 on page 25 of the 2006-07 student agenda

#7  --  Parking permits will be issued using a system to rank seniors based on class periods missed with priority being given to those with fewer absences from school.  Parking will be offered to students on the list in consecutive order until no more spaces are available.  Senior students must meet the following requirements in order to obtain a parking permit.  Criteria evaluation will be based on student information relating to the semester previous to the semester for which a parking permit is applied (i.e., Fall 2007 parking eligibility will be based on Spring 2007 information).

  1. A student will not have accumulated any out-of-school or in-school suspension.
  2. A student will not have accumulated more than 5 tardies.
  3. If the criteria in a) and b) have been met, then students will be ranked according to the number of class periods missed (excused and unexcused) that they have on record with priority being given to those with the least class periods missed.
  4. Each assignment of Saturday Opportunity School will count as three missed class periods.

Additional criteria to be added in item #8.

  • Students with outstanding library or textbook fines must pay the fines before receiving their sticker.
  • Transfer students will go through the process just like current Centennial students.  Transfer students are responsible for providing their own attendance and discipline records from their previous school.
