Greetings from the Bethune Elementary School Family! We are truly a school committed to excellence in all that we do.  We have a wonderful staff of caring and dedicated employees who set high expectations for themselves and our students daily.  Our Mission, Vision, and Beliefs guide all that we do to educate our students. We try very hard to recognize and praise our students for their accomplishments regularly.  Bethune is a wonderful place for students to learn and grow. We have a terrific community of parents and businesses that provide support for all of our activities. As principal, I look forward each day to greeting our students and visiting their classrooms for I know "Focused Teaching and Focused Learning" will occur.

As assistant principal, I am guided by three principles; my love for children, teaching and learning. With this goal in mind, students will grow up to be contributing, productive members of society. As I complete my daily tasks, I constantly remind myself that if I can make a difference in the life of one child, I am successful in what I set out to do. I am proud to work with such a dedicated, focused, team of educators who will help me to grow and face challenges with a "can do" spirit.
