Welcome to the AES Library Media Center!

Our Library Media Center operates as the "hub" of the school offering an outstanding collection of fiction, nonfiction, periodicals and reference materials.

We welcome students, parents, staff and visitors to stop by and browse or find a comfortable place to sit and read.

7:20 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Borrowing
Policy:
Students in kindergarten may borrow one (1) book. Students in first and second graders may borrow two (2) books. Students in grades third through fifth may borrow three (3) books. Reference materials do not circulate to students. Students with overdue materials may not check out additional material until all overdue material is returned.
Loan Period:
All materials may be borrowed for two weeks and renewed one time.
Collection:
The Library Media Center at Alpharetta Elementary holds approximately 17,000 volumes, 25 periodicals for students and 15 professional periodicals. The collections reflects the curriculum as set by Fulton County Schools and is currently strong in materials pertaining to science, history and biographies, as well as well-reviewed children's literature.
