Hardship transfer applications accepted beginning January 8

Beginning January 8, 2007, applications can be filed to request a 2007-08 hardship transfer to another Fulton School or to request renewal of an existing hardship transfer. The deadline to submit these applications to the Fulton County Schools' Student Placement Office is February 15, 2007. There are no exceptions or extensions. Applications are available at your child's school, online at http://fultonschools.org/dept/studentplacement and at the Fulton County Schools Administrative Center, located at 786 Cleveland Avenue SW in Atlanta.

Students in the Majority-to-Minority program (M-to-M) do not need to complete a new application unless the student is changing from elementary to middle school or from middle to high school. The M-to-M program is only open to siblings of students who are currently enrolled in the program.

If you have questions or need more information about Hardship Transfers, please contact the Fulton County Schools' Office of Student Placement at 404-763-6801 or visit http://www.fultonschools.org/dept/studentplacement.
