All students must attend the first and last days of class in a face-to-face session. There are NO exceptions.
The first day of class is an orientation to the course and to the Virtual Campus. Textbooks and equipment, if required, will be issued on this date.
The last day of class consists of a final exam. Finals count as much as 15% of the final course grade. The students will return any materials assigned to them at this time. If students fail to return any item, he/she will not be allowed to take the final exam.
Mandatory Sessions for Health and Science Courses
Health classes require a face-to-face CPR training and exam class.
Some science classes require multiple face-to-face labs.
These dates are scheduled in advance and are posted on the Virtual Campus Web site during the registration period.
End of Course Tests will be given for selected courses and will count 15% of the course grade. During Fall and Spring, all End of Course Tests will be given in a face-to-face setting at the student’s home school. During Summer, the End of Course Tests will be given in a face-to-face setting at a designated school and may occur after the last day of scheduled Virtual Campus classes. The date of the Summer EOCT is posted on the Virtual Campus Web site during the registration process.
