  • Discipline
Students are referred to the assistant principals' offices for a variety of reasons*. The top 3 reasons for discipline referrals are listed below:

    1. Tardies
      • Tardies to first period are tracked by the attendance office
      • Tardies to other classes are tracked by the teacher
      • The 4th cumulative tardy constitutes a discipline referral, which usually results in a detention
      • Each cumulative tardy results in more severe consequences
    2. Cell Phones, iPods or other electronic devices
      • Cell phones and ipods are not to be used or even seen between 8:00am and 3:35pm, or they are subject to confiscation
      • If students are caught with any of these items, they run the risk of being referred to the office for discipline
    3. Dress Code Violation
      • Skirts and shorts must be at least 2 inches below the fingertips (with or without tights underneath). Students who are caught wearing short skirts or shorts, will be required to change, along with possibly receiving discipline.
      • Pants are not to be worn below the hip
