| Description |
To provide Science instruction for students that enables them to demonstrate mastery of the Georgia Performance Standards in Science. In addition, will be responsible for planning, development, and oversight of magnet program. |
| Duties
& Responsibilities |
Provide content related differentiated and appropriate instruction based on Fulton's Science curriculum and research based best instructional practices for science (inquiry, hands-on models, problem-based learning, laboratory experimentation) Integrate appropriate technology into lessons Provide classroom environment which promotes active learning in Science Exhibit professionalism in all job-related situations Develop and execute magnet goals and objectives Orient new teachers to the magnet program Promote positive public relations for the magnet program Coordinate magnet budget - Coordinate all magnet new and ongoing initiatives effectively

| Qualifications |
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited university Must hold or be eligible to hold a Georgia certificate in Secondary Science (7-12). Proven communication and instructional strategies

Prefer industry experience or past high school magnet experience. |
