Training & Communications

The Information Technology Division in partnership with the Professional Learning Department has aligned all training and development initiatives with the new Professional Learning Communities model. All training offerings will be published through the Professional Learning Bulletin.

Mission: Our mission is to support and promote student achievement by integrating technology into daily instruction and administrative processes.

Vision: We promote the seamless and effective use of technology to support student learning, efficient administrative practices, student information solutions, planning and research, and partnerships between home, school and community.

Strategic Goals:

• Ensure that technology is an integral component of the instructional program in all Fulton County Schools
• Advocate the integration of learning activities across all content areas
• Maintain a commitment to professional development to ensure that all personnel have the needed skills to use technology for administrative productivity, teaching, and learning
• Encourage collaboration between the technology specialist, the media center staff and the instructional staff for the development, implementation and evaluation of quality learning activities which increase student achievement
