Fulton's Principal for a Day program is a partnership between the Fulton County School System, Georgia Independent School Association, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, South Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce.
The program aims to build relationships between schools and business/community leaders while also educating them on the rigors of successfully managing a school.
The 8th Annual Principal for a Day program was held November 14-18 during American Education Week. More than 90 community leaders participated in activities ranging from staff meetings, parents conferences, classroom observations, lunchroom and carpool duty to understand what it is to be an educator.
