As part of USDA’s Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program, 11 Fulton County Elementary Schools participate in offering students a free fresh fruit or vegetable snack 2-3 days a week!  The program introduces students to a wide variety of fruits and vegetables!  Each fresh fruit and vegetable is accompanied with a Fun Fact Sheet, and students are encouraged to use their senses to taste, smell, touch, and see the novel fruits and vegetables.

Schools participating in the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program include Brookview, Campbell, Conley Hills, HE Holmes, Hapeville, Lake Forest, Liberty Point, Mimosa, Love T Nolan, Oak Knoll, and Oakley Elementary

An Epic Wrap Battle is on its way to the cafe! It’s the classic battle between sweet and spicy flavors in a limited time only Wrap students will love!  Students can let their taste buds decide who wins when they try the sweet Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Wrap and the spicy Cajun Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap! Students can try both and decides who reigns supreme! 


Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Wrap Elementary: Jan 15th & Jan 22nd
Middle: Jan 13th, 15th, 20th, & 22nd
High: Jan 13th, 15th, 20th, & 22nd


Cajun Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap
Elementary: Jan 16th & Jan 23rd
Middle: Jan 13th, 15th, 20th, & 22nd
High: Jan 13th, 15th, 20th, & 22nd

Elementary schools have not fried foods sold in school cafeterias since 2008, and in addition, beginning 2014-15 school year, cafeterias will no longer fry any foods in all Fulton County middle and high schools.  The fryers were replaced with new hydrovection oven equipment.
