Supporting the Whole Child and Engaging Parents and Families in their child's education

All Title I Parents, Families and Community Stakeholders. We'd like to hear from you.

Thank you to all the parents, family members and community members who came out for our stakeholder input meetings in May 2017. It was a valuable experience for all involved. Check back here for your opportunity to be a part of the Parent, Family and Community Advisory Council. Feedback and revisions on the FY17 District Parent and Family Engagement Plan for FY18 have closed. However, parent, family and community feedback on our district and school family engagement programs will continue to be accepted throughout the year. Watch for your final copy of the 2017-2018 District Parent and Family Engagement Plan being distributed at all Title I schools and in the community by September 2017.

Parents, families and community members are always welcome to offer your feedback, questions and comments in the following ways:

  • U.S. mail to: Title I Dept./Parent Engagement, 6201 Powers Ferry Rd., Atlanta, 30339
  • Fax to the Title I Department, Attn: Parent Engagement, 470-254-1244
  • Email Kimberly Howard, Family Engagement Specialist at howardkim@fultonschools.org
  • Return to school Parent Liaisons or family engagement representatives
What is Title I?

Title I is a federally funded program designed to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic standards and state academic assessments.

The Title I program focuses on the academic needs of the most disadvantaged students.

There are 62 schools operating Title I programs in the Fulton County School System for the 2016-2017 school year.
