Thank you to all the parents, family members, and community stakeholders for attending our various input meetings in May. It was a pleasure to meet you and your families and engage with you personally.  We invite all Fulton County families and community members to continue to share your feedback throughout the year on our District Parent and Family Engagement survey accessible at  FCS Annual District Title I Parent and Family Engagement Survey 2018 .  The deadline for revision input has been extended to Thursday, May 31st. We welcome your feedback to help us revise our 2017-2018 District Title I Parent and Family Engagement Plan for 2018-2019. What is Title I?

Title I is a federally funded program designed to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic standards and state academic assessments.

The Title I program focuses on the academic needs of the most disadvantaged students.

There are 62 schools operating Title I programs in the Fulton County School System for the 2016-2017 school year.
