Chapter 1Parent RightsReviews definition of parent, surrogate, parental rights, participation in decision making, confidentiality, prior written notice, and guidelines for independent evaluation.
Chapter 2FAPEAll students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) are entitled to a free appropriate public education (FAPE).  This chapter reviews what that means for all students.
Chapter 3Child FindChild Find is a process that districts use to identify, locate, and evaluate all children in the district, ages birth through 21, who are suspected of having disabilities that may result in a need for special education and related services. 
Chapter 4EvaluationsThis chapter reviews information regarding initial and revaluations.  It also covers the guidelines for an independent educational evaluations (IEE)
Chapter 5Eligibility This chapter reviews all the Eligibility areas and the criteria for each.
Chapter 6IEPThis chapter reviews who are the required members of an Individualized Education Program (IEP).  It also provides information regarding the content of the actual IEP.
Chapter 7LRESpecial education and related services are designed to help meet the unique needs of students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment (LRE). This chapter will review the decision making process and the possible service delivery models
Chapter 8Assistive TechnologyThis chapter reviews the Assistive Technology (AT) process that is used to increase, maintain or improve the functional capabilities of a child with a disability and how it is documented in an IEP.  
Chapter 9TransitionTransition services are a set of activities​ to assist in the transition from school to post secondary options. This chapter will also review the Transition Plan (TP) and the Summary of Performance (SOP).
Chapter 10Feeding and SwallowingThis chapter reviews the guidelines for evaluation and/or intervention in the areas of feeding and swallowing in order for students access, participate, and progress in their curricula.
Chapter 11DisciplineThis chapter discusses the mission of creating school-wide Positive Behavior Supports. The guidelines for determining manifestation and potential discipline removals are explained.
Chapter 12Hospital Homebound (HHB)Referral guidelines and services for students served through the Hospital Homebound program (HHB).
