Here are some ideas for how your child can create:

  • Design a comic strip using new vocabulary, or concepts.
  • Allow your child to create a 'test' for you to take.  Ask them to include topics they are learning now.
  • Create a movie, song or digital presentation that shows your teacher what you did while at home.
  • Conduct an experiment and document the outcome (video, pictures, and journal).
  • Research an individual and then use the app Tellagami (or another app/platform) to create an autobiographical presentation.

Please contact your child's teachers directly with questions related to assignments and assessments. Personalized learning is not an occurrence, rather a continuum.  Teachers may in fact be using platforms like Edmodo, Blendspace, Blackboard Collaborate or Google to ccommunicate and collaborate with students remotely.
