Westlake Cluster Improvements

 

 

 

 

Camp Creek Middle School

Renovation and modification of existing buildings and site improvements which may include the following:

• Patch, repair and clean exterior walls.

• Replace as needed chalk and tack boards, lockers, toilet accessories, toilet partitions and shelving.

• Replace as needed fixed furniture such as cabinets, countertops, blinds and fixed seating.

• Replacement of floor finishes as needed.

• Painting as needed.

• Refinish gymnasium wood flooring

• Replace roofing.

• Repair domestic water piping and update plumbing fixtures.

• Update building’s HVAC exhaust system as required.

• Replace gymnasium roof top HVAC unit.

• Update gymnasium and exterior lighting.

• Update fire alarm system as required.

• Replace emergency generator system.

• Replacement and/or repair of selected exterior doors and windows.

• Revise electrical service to kitchen and serving line equipment as needed.

• Reconfigure kitchen and dining room for serving lines relocation.

• Energy conservation improvements as needed.

• Repair, resurface and restripe parking lots and drives.

• Replace sidewalks as necessary.

• Replace and upgrade site lighting.

• Repair and/or replace site sanitary sewer system.

• Replace domestic water backflow device.

• Repair and/or replace tennis courts.

• Provide additional parking.

• Expand bus loading canopy.

Start Construction: As Soon as Summer 2016 &

No Later Than Summer 2017

Final Completion: No Later Than Winter 2017

 

Sandtown Middle School 

Renovation and modification of existing buildings and site improvements which may include the following:

• Replacement of floor finishes as needed.

Start Design: No Later Than Spring 2015

Start Construction: As Soon as Summer 2016 &

No Later Than Summer 2017

Final Completion: No Later Than Fall 2017

 

Randolph Elementary School

Major renovation and modification of existing building and site improvements which may include the following work:

• Replacement and/or repair of selected doors, windows and hardware.

• Replace floor finishes as needed.

• Replace as needed marker/tack boards, toilet and, toilet partitions and shelving.

• Replace and/or repair roofing system.

• Painting as needed.

• Replace gymnasium flooring surface (Note 1).

• Replace acoustical ceiling grid, sound insulation and tile as required.

• Replace and/or repair plumbing fixtures.

• Replace water heaters.

• Major HVAC upgrade and replacement.

• Revise electrical service to kitchen and serving line.

• Replace/repair sidewalks as needed.

Start Design: In Progress

Start Construction: As Soon as Summer 2015 &

No Later Than Summer 2016

Final Completion: No Later Than Fall 2016

 

Seaborn Lee Elementary School

Renovation and modification of existing buildings and site improvements which may include the following:

• Patch and repair of exterior walls.

• Replacement and/or repair of selected doors, windows and hardware as needed.

• Replace as needed chalk/ tack boards, toilet accessories, toilet partitions and shelving.

• Painting as necessary

• Replacement of floor finishes as needed.

• Replace and/or refinish stage wood flooring.

• Replace acoustical ceiling grid and tile as required.

• Replace and/or repair sanitary waste piping and plumbing fixtures.

• Update building’s HVAC exhaust system as required.

• Update fire alarm system as required.

• Update security system as required.

• Replace chair lifts.

• Replace gym flooring with new flooring surface.

• Revise electrical service to kitchen and serving line equipment as needed.

• Replace kitchen dish machine and associated equipment.

• Energy conservation improvements as needed.

• Resurface and repair play court.

• Repair, resurface and restripe parking lots and entrance drives as required.

• Replace sidewalks as necessary.

Start Design: Complete

Start Construction:  Summer 2014

Final Completion:  Fall 2015

 

Stonewell Tell Elementary School

Renovation and modification of existing buildings and site improvements which may include the following:

• Replacement and/or repair of selected doors, windows and hardware.

• Painting as necessary.

• Replacement of floor finishes as needed.

• Replace acoustical ceiling grid and tile, including sound insulation as required.

• Update building’s HVAC system and controls as required.

• Replace emergency generator.

• Revise electrical service to kitchen and serving line equipment as needed.

• Energy conservation improvements as needed.

• Repair, resurface and restripe parking lots and entrance drives as required.

Start Design: No Later Than Spring 2015

Start Construction: As Soon as Summer 2016 &

No Later Than Summer 2017

Final Completion: No Later Than Fall 2017

 

* Additional work at each campus may also include the following improvements as needed: furniture and equipment replacement, visitor identification equipment, access control upgrades and surveillance equipment. Other improvements associated with the integration of system wide technology standards, educational specifications and design requirements may also be included per Fulton County Schools’ Board policy.

** Note 1 - Floor covering replacements for elementary schools will be accelerated with work starting Summer 2013.
