A Message from the Superintendent
Fulton County Schools would like to express its deepest sympathy to the families of the victims and those injured in the mass school shooting in Texas. Our thoughts are with the Santa Fe High School community during this time of tragedy and heartbreak.
I am deeply saddened and troubled by the mass shootings that continue to plague our nation.
Fulton County Schools will not let its guard down when it comes to the safety and security of our students and staff. In recent months, we have taken further steps to strengthen security on all of our campuses. We have retrained our staff on active shooter protocols, added more police officers to our force, and strengthened security measures on everything from our front entry systems, to surveillance cameras.
We want to keep you continually updated on our plans and remind you of our Safety and Security page that features more information. Please take the time to review the materials by clicking here:
We will continue to be vigilant in our efforts to keep students and employees protected, emotionally comfortable, and ready to learn.
Jeff Rose, Ed.D.
