SAVTE STOPPING ACTS OF VIOLENCE THROUCH
EDUCATION PROGRAM This program's overall mission is to increase
the knowledge and understanding of the nature and purpose of the law for students
and parents of the Fulton County Schools. The program has four basic objectives:
- Increase the participants' knowledge of the juvenile and adult justice system,
- Foster
resiliency skills,
- Enhance communication and cooperative learning skills,
and
- Provide a positive practical learning experience.
The
program includes activities such as engaging in problem solving activities, practicing
conflict resolution exercises, participating in group discussions, completing
written assignments, and taking a part in role playing situations.
