OSASP - What is the Out-Of-School Alternative Suspension
Program?
- OSASP is funded by the Fulton County Board of Education
to address behavioral problems of middle and high school students who have been
suspended or exprelled from school.
- How are student referred
to OSASP?
- Students referred by school administrators, the Office
of Student Discipline, parents and other sources.
- What
services are provided by OSASP?
- Academic Support

- Student Observation and Progress Reports
- Does
OSASP provide transportation?
- No. Transportation to and from
the site is the responsibility of the parent/guardian of the participating student.
Marta tokens are available for students who do not have transportation to the
site.
- Does OSASP provide food services?
- Yes.
A nutritious meal is available to each site location for the cost of $1.50 -$1.75
per meal. Each student is responsible for paying the cost of this meal.
- What
are the requirements for participation in OSASP?
- OSASP participants
must:
- be enrolled in the program by their parent or legal guardian
- provide
a suspension report (letter, form, etc.) to OSASP staff from local school administrator
- Attend
daily and participate in all activities
