  • What is the Out-Of-School Alternative Suspension Program?
    • OSASP is funded by the Fulton County Board of Education to address behavioral problems of middle and high school students who have been suspended or exprelled from school.
  • How are student referred to OSASP?
    • Students referred by school administrators, the Office of Student Discipline, parents and other sources.
  • What services are provided by OSASP?
    • Academic Support
    • Computer Enrichment
    • Crisis Intervention Counseling
    • Behavior Modification Groups
    • Community Enrichment Projects
    • Team Building Activities
    • Progress Follow-up Assessments
    • Student Observation and Progress Reports
  • Does OSASP provide transportation?
    • No. Transportation to and from the site is the responsibility of the parent/guardian of the participating student. Marta tokens are available for students who do not have transportation to the site.
  • Does OSASP provide food services?
    • Yes. A nutritious meal is available to each site location for the cost of $1.50 -$1.75 per meal. Each student is responsible for paying the cost of this meal.
  • What are the requirements for participation in OSASP?
    • OSASP participants must:
      • be enrolled in the program by their parent or legal guardian
      • provide a suspension report (letter, form, etc.) to OSASP staff from local school administrator
      • Attend daily and participate in all activities
