NBC Certification

Funding Applications are due to the Professional Learning Department no later than Friday, May 6, 2005. The first Awareness meeting is this evening at Centennial High School from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. A second Awareness meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the Staff Development Center in East Point.

National Board Certification (NBC) centers educational reform in the classroom - where teaching and learning take place.

Teachers speak eloquently about how the certification experience produces deeper student learning outcomes in classrooms. They are strengthened in their practice and emerge from the experience with a lasting commitment to professional growth.
