New Immunization Rules For Children Enrolled In Child Care Facilities (Including Head Start and Pre-Kindergarten) And For 6th Grade Students |

| Student Health Services will be hosting a special class for school staff and officials (data clerks, counseling secretaries, etc) who are assigned to receive and input immunizations for schools on April 11, 2007. |

| Georgia's immunization requirements for children attending child care and school facilities have been amended to align with the current recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. The Georgia Department of Human Resources Board approved the new requirements on February 21, 2007. |
