PLATO Online Courses

• PLATO courses are offered at your home school, and they are free of charge.
  
• Each home school receives a certain number of PLATO openings. Priority is typically given to Seniors and Juniors who need to make up courses immediately for Graduation.
  
• A student can only take a course through the PLATO program if he or she has previously failed the same course. At this time, course offerings include: Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
• PLATO courses are offered during the Fall and Spring semesters, but are not offered during the Summer semester.
  
• In order to participate in PLATO, students must sign a contract committing to strict attendance guidelines. Because PLATO courses are limited and free of charge, seats are given to students who show a true commitment to credit recovery.
