 The Guidance and Counseling Department provides leadership at Alpharetta High School through implementation of a developmental, preventive, and crisis intervention program designed to further social, emotional, and intellectual development in students. Counselors conduct individual counseling, group counseling, classroom advisement, and consultation with school staff, parents, and community resources.
2008 Traditional Summer School Information
AHS Counselors will accept summer school registration from parents on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between the hours of 8am-8:45am and 3pm-4pm. Parents and students must both be present to complete the registration form with their assigned counselor in the counseling office and pay the tuition at that time. Checks should be made out to Alpharetta High School.
Location: Chattahoochee HS (N. County) and Bannekar HS (S.County)
Registration will start on Monday, April 21 thru Wednesday, May 28.
Tuition: $225 ($180 free meal students) per semester course ; $450 ($360 free meal students) for Year long course
Semester 1: June 2-19 7:30am -12:30 pm
Semester 2:
June 23-July 11 7:30am-12:30pm
