Message from the Principal

State of the School Address
Congratulations to all of our Super Honor Roll and Honor Roll recipients from First Semester! We had 100+ students earn straight “A”s and Super Honor Roll status and 250+
students earn all “A”s and “B”s and Honor Roll status. This achievement required dedication, commitment, and confidence in the ability to achieve. Each of our Super Honor
Roll and Honor Roll recipients are a role model for all students at our school and we are very proud of their accomplishments. A letter was sent home to all families late last
week in recognition of our outstanding performers. In addition, each student’s name is
represented on a poster in our hallways to honor their accomplishment.

Listen up parents of rising 9th graders! Please join us at Centennial High School, on February
8th at 6:30 pm, for a night filled with information to help you plan for your child’s transition to the high school. This is a great opportunity for you to visit our outstanding high school, get answers to questions, and ease anxiety. We look forward to seeing you
there.

We have been working diligently to come up with sample logos for our staff, students,
and community to vote on. It is important that we get this right as this logo will be a
representation of Haynes Bridge Middle School. After initial feedback, we went back to the drawing board to improve our options. This process has pushed back our vote. As a result, we will NOT be sending home ballots with the February 9th interim reports. We expect to have our updated logos by the end of next week and then will be able to communicate
our timeline for voting. Thank you for your patience with this process.

School Spotlight

On January 31st Mrs. Babcock, Mrs. Laravea, Mr. Greb, and Mrs. Sickler's class went to North Fulton Community Charities to deliver the  monthly can donation from HBMS. We also toured the pantry and learned all about how people in need are being helped every day.

Internet access is available at your school in support of the instructional program. The Fulton County School System complies with the Children's Internt Protection Act. Filtering is in place that blocks access to material that may be inappropriate for your child. Web sites are permitted or denied upon review of the school Media Committee.
